Landscape design should always include flowers for cutting...and for the bees.

Imagine walking inside after a visit to your cutting garden, placing a vase on the counter and filling it with the most gorgeous blooms at their peak...

Having a cut flower garden is a gift for yourself. Watching things bloom as the months progress is like having a front row seat to the magic of Mother Nature. Through an eye for design, a love of pollinators, and a passion for flowers I will create a landscape design that will bring you joy for years to come.

Whether you're a beginner or have always loved gardening, I'd love to help you create a space that fills your heart.

What the process looks like:

Your journey to a landscape design with a cut flower focus begins with a 30 minute phone call to discuss your ideas, why you want a cutting garden, when you'd like to have it ready, the balance of time/budget, and any additional info you'd like to share.

On our initial visit I will evaluate your existing landscape and what changes can be made to enhace the beauty and provide you with endless flowers. I'll look at the options for placement, sun patterns, and collect soil for a soil test. We'll also talk about flowers, shrubs, and foliage you love, those you don't, colors, and how much time/desire you have to maintain.

Based on all this information I will put together a proposal for you that includes the exact plants, flowers, shrubs and trees I recommend as well as the timing of when they can all go in. With a combination of annuals & perennials that includes focal flowers, accent flowers and foliage you'll have gorgeous flowers from early spring through late fall.

Once you've reviewed and approved of the plan we'll make it happen! I'd be happy to make the purchases for you but I'll have a list of people that I recommend for the planting...and depending on the size of the project there's a lot you can do too!

You'll be provided with a care guide for every flower, shrub or plant that's used so you can learn and enjoy the process.
